Tyrone J. "Ty Da G" & "FHT 3X" Chatman, Jr.

          Mr. Tyrone Jermaine Chatman Jr., 26, of Youngstown departed this life on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. 

          Tyrone affectionately known as “TY Da G” and “FHT 3X” was born November 15, 1997 in Youngstown, a son of Shelonda Glenn and Tyrone Chatman Sr. He was a 2015 graduate of Mahoning County High School. He was a former member of Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church. Tyrone loved music, his three loving dogs (Lady,Major,Blue), cars, boxing, traveling, helping his family and others. He enjoyed sports and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Tyrone’s sweet spirit and smile captured the hearts of many people.

          He leaves to cherish his beloved memory, his mother, Shelonda Glenn; his brother, James Fisher and his sister, Morgen Glenn who all he loved dearly; his father, Tyrone (Devetta) Chatman; siblings, Jarell Madison, Tyonn Chatman, Tyquan Chatman, Tymon Chatman and Tanasia Clark; grandfather, Frederick “Buddy” Glenn Sr.; aunt, Charlotte “Bubbles” Glenn; uncle, Frederick “Lil Buddy” Glenn Jr.; great aunt, Monya (Jamal) Hudson; great aunt, Charlotte (Henry) Lindsey; great uncle, Micheal Glenn; a special great great aunt, Linda Robinson who helped raise him; cousins, Lil Larry, Isaiah, Vincent, Bert, Ronnie, other family and friends including Nikko, Morris, Matt and Chuck.  

         He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kathryn Johnson, Minnie Chatman, and David Shine; great grandparents, Laverne Hudson, Ruth Glenn and James “Fred” Glenn; great uncle, Leon Glenn Sr.; a special great great uncle, Albert Robinson who also helped raise him; cousins Monya Justice,Joseph McGraw Jr. and Johnathan Leeper and Carlos Crues Jr.

         Visitation will be Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at Greater Friendship Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 am. Guests are asked to wear masks.
