Tamara Lynn Brown

A very special lady to many, was born in Youngstown, on January 25, 1969, Tamara Lynn Brown, was born the daughter of Belinda Faye Brown and John Garett. She passed away at her home February 6, 2024. She was a Queen born with 2 sisters, Michelle (Theo) Holcomb, Davina Brown and a brother, James Brown from her mother, Belinda Faye Brown’s side; 4 sisters from her father, John Garrett’s side; Rhonda Richardson of Cleveland, Ashley, Taylor and Ryan Garrett, of Pittsburgh and a loving man, Kendall Johnson. She also leaves four children, Richard W., Micheal W., Malcolm B. and LaKeitha A. Brown of Youngstown, 5 grandchildren, all from Youngstown, a favorite aunt, Evelyn Brown of California and other aunts, Delores Brown and Terry Carter, uncles; Charlie and King Brown, a host of nieces and nephews, other aunts and cousins.

She lays to rest with family members, Mary A. Brown, Frankie Brown, Richard Watkins and Keith Allen. A beautiful woman that the world is going to truly miss. A woman of many things who was great at what she did. At being a mother, a child, sister and so on. She really loved to see her family happy and never in need. She also tried to satisfy whatever needs were needed. She loved listening to music, getting her jam on and dancing, keeping things clean and organized. She loved to cook, watch football, especially the Settle Seahawks, loved playing cards, Rummy 5 Thousand and having family time. Just an enjoyable person. There was going to be a party if Lynn was around. It was family first by any means even though she had many issues as far as her health and pain, but it didn’t stop her from being a strong black beautiful woman, mom, sister or friend that made a way for whatever. Although she is gone, she will never be forgotten. She leaves behind a lot of lovable memories that she would want us to remember her by instead of the days we are facing now.

Visitation will be Friday, February 16, 2024 at L. E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home from 12 Noon to 1 p.m. with funeral services starting 1 p.m.
